Mayoral election

The Mayor will be a powerful voice for the city region. The Mayor will work with council leaders to deliver economic development, regeneration and transport priorities


Electors in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield voted for Dan Jarvis to be the first Mayor of the Sheffield City Region. Votes were counted and the result announced on 4 May 2018. The results of the Mayoral Election were published on this page here
