Mayor Dan Jarvis detailed his Vision for Transport in the Sheffield City Region, which included, building a transport system that works for everyone and putting public transport, active travel and connectivity at the heart of his ambitions.


Mayor Jarvis has appointed Dame Sarah Storey as the region’s first Active Travel Commissioner, launched an independent review into the bus network, chaired by Clive Betts MP, published his detailed Transport Strategy and launched an ambitious plan for the region’s rail network.
