Regional organisations are set to benefit from healthcare investments and trade opportunities in the US through a pioneering new project, Sheffield and Leeds City Region’s Local Enterprise Partnerships are combining forces to attract healthcare investments and trade opportunities across their regional boundaries.

Private sector professionals from the two city regions will team up to pitch for business at OMTEC in Chicago – the 8th Annual Orthopaedic Manufacturing and Technology Exposition and Conference. The visit is being supported by UKTI and Medilink with a visit package available for any Yorkshire companies wanting to take part.

The conference will be an opportunity to show international orthopaedic manufacturers the investment opportunities that the city regions can offer. Sheffield and Leeds City Regions both have very strong orthopaedic healthcare sectors and the areas are home to a number of key companies, experts and academics in this specialist field.
