Ellen Cutler, Director of Inward Investment for the LEP added;

“Sheffield City region has a compelling inward investment offer because our business approach is tied to the region’s sophisticated supply chains, exceptional manufacturing base and unique collaborative culture.”

“I feel privileged to have the support from our industry and I look forward to working with all of the other City Region companies also attending the event.”

Mark Broxholme, Managing Director of Speciality Steels at Tata said:

“Tata Steel is an international company and can choose where it invests, Sheffield City Region is a great place to be.

“The skills base and the platform this gives us for global business means we have invested over £35m in the last three years.

“We have a strong commitment to the local business community and support the LEP to raise the profile of investment opportunities.”

OTC will provide the ideal platform for the US launch of SCR’s Enterprise Zone, rated number 1 in the UK by the Financial Time’s fDi magazine, and promote the wider capabilities of the region’s advanced materials and manufacturing supply chain.
