At 8am on Friday 14 June, the Sheffield City Region LEP is holding its first LEP Business Breakfast at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham.

Registration has now opened for this event. Places are limited to 100 – please register using the form below.

The LEP wants to hear the views of local business leaders as it starts work on the City Region’s Economic Growth Strategy. The Growth Strategy will be led by the private sector and will identify opportunities for economic growth and job creation in the City Region.

LEP Chairman James Newman said,

“The Private Sector will play a leading role in developing the Growth Plan for the City Region and I’m looking forward to welcoming business leaders from across the Sheffield City Region to this first LEP Breakfast event.

“This initial event will give business leaders the opportunity to gain an understanding of the huge scope of our plans and help to shape our strategies.

“Later this month, the Chancellor is expected to follow Lord Heseltine’s recommendations to devolve significant powers and funding to LEPs.

“Government is doing this because they know that LEPs are better placed to allocate funds in a way which will have the maximum economic impact on City Region areas.”

The event will be held at the AMP technology centre from 8 to 9.30am on Friday 14 June.

The event is expected to be popular, and business people hoping to attend will need to register using the form below:
