British Energy Challenge
On Thursday 20 June, from 3-5pm, the British Energy Challenge comes to the Sheffield City Region.
The event, held at the Showroom Workstation in Sheffield, aims to enhance understanding of how we power the country and the Sheffield City Region, both today and in the future.
Hosted by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and Sheffield City Region the event will be led by DECC’s Chief Scientific Adviser, David MacKay and climate change author, Mark Lynas.
The discussion will highlight the scale of the energy challenges we face, how we can tackle them and what opportunities we have for change.
This is an opportunity to participate with government in this discussion, network with leaders from across the region and discuss some practical steps to contribute to its solution.
