New ‘feel-good’ video for Enterprise Zone
An exciting new YouTube video has been created by the Sheffield City Region Inward Investment team to showcase the UK’s number 1 Enterprise Zone for Modern Manufacturing and Technology.
The video features local businessman Andrew Taylor, Managing Director of X-Cel Superturn and Duncan Armstrong-Payne, Development Manager of Harworth Estates. They both describe what makes the City Region’s Enterprise Zone so special.
When asked why he decided to base the X-Cel Superturn factory on the City Region’s Enterprise Zone, Andrew Taylor states:
“I have had factories in India and America, and the quality is definitely better from our factory here in the Sheffield City Region.
“It gives the customer a real feel good factor.”
Stressing the flexibility the Enterprise Zone offers, Duncan Armstrong-Payne Development Manager for the Waverley Enterprise Zone site said:
“Whether you are looking to buy land, build your own building or have the front door keys to a new bespoke property, we can provide it at Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone.”
James Newman, Chairman of Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership added:
“The video has been created for the UKTI digital platform and we hope that the regional business community will share this video with their global and national networks via YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites.
“It shows that Sheffield City Region is a great place to locate your business, and improve your bottom line through great Enterprise Zone incentives.
“The work on the Enterprise Zone is on-going, the Markham Vale site is soon to benefit from a new link road providing vital infrastructure to the western plot of land.
“Additionally, the Barnsley site is proving popular and plans are afoot to build new units to meet demand.
“The City Region, in partnership with stakeholders, will be showcasing the Enterprise Zone along with other key development sites at MIPIM and we encourage interested parties to get in touch to find out how they can get involved.”
