We have put together an ambitious funding portfolio to unlock development. With a £600m public and private capital investment programme and a portfolio of city region investment funds we can help unlock commercial development. With property and housing investment funds available we are accelerating housing, commercial, retail and leisure schemes.
This project provides the “JESSICA” fund with additional resource to undertake development debt funding at commercial rates, to help unlock commercial property and regeneration projects in the Sheffield City Region.
The project forms part of the £320m Sheffield City Region Infrastructure Fund (SCRIF). This fund includes a contribution from the Government’s Local Growth Fund resources which is part of the Government’s continued investment in the Northern Powerhouse.
This investment is expected to deliver 477 jobs.
