Skills Bank procurement
The Skills Funding Agency (SFA) is looking to procure an organisation to manage and run the Sheffield City Region Skills Bank.
The Skills Bank will be Sheffield City Region’s programme for improving the skills base of its workforce, whilst changing the way the skills system operates by placing the purchasing power for skills in the hands of employers.
This will align the public investment made through the Skills Bank to economic growth outcomes, such as job creation, business creation and increasing gross value added (GVA) which supports delivery of the Strategic Economic Plan.
This contract is not suitable to be divided into lots due to the requirement to secure one organisation to operate the Skills Bank service.
The services which the successful tenderer will be required to deliver in managing and running the Skills Bank include employer engagement and marketing, triage and brokerage service, the procurement of education and training, contract and financial management and the management of reporting activities.
